Dubbed the I-Ball the wireless device is robust enough to survive being thrown onto a battlefield.
The I-Ball’s internal camera gives a 360 degree view, with images being sent from the instant it is launched.
It is thought the new technology would enable soldiers to see into potential danger spots without putting themselves at risk of ambush.

With Kodak and RCA putting out so-called HD versions of their YouTube-friendly mini camcorders, we knew it was only a matter of time before Pure Digital Technologies, the maker of Flip Video mini camcorders, put out an HD model of its own.
Calling it the “world’s smallest HD camcorder,” the US$229 Flip Mino HD looks identical to the standard-definition Flip Mino. It weighs just over 3 ounces, boasts 720p resolution, and has 4GB of memory that allows for 60 minutes of recording time. The release also says that the Flip Mino HD features “all-new built-in FlipShare software for easy saving, organizing and sharing of video from your computer.” We’re not sure how it’s different from the software on the existing Mino, but when we get more details, we’ll let you know.

While I still love my iPhone 3G, we’ve hit some bumps in the road in our relationship. In particular its battery life, or lack thereof, depending on what I’m using it for.
I recall one instance in particular. After using the phone more than I usually do in a day, I went to bed without charging it. The next day to woke up to a dead phone. Luckily this was a Saturday morning, so I didn’t particularly need it for the next few hours, but this could have easily happened on a weekday.

Technology might be the only medium where smaller is always better, but it’s starting to get ridiculous. I’m worried that my next cell phone is going to be the size of a sunflower seed. There’s got to be a point where we finally decide that things need to start getting bigger, and Mobigrip thinks that now is as good a time as any.
